Nis Øllgaard’s shoehorn wins a Red Dot Award
Nis Øllgaard’s shoehorn was part of Danish Crafts Collection CC15, which was launched in autumn 2011. The product was soon spotted by Normann Copenhagen and they decided to put the shoehorn into production. Recently the shoehorn received a Red Dot Award.

Strokes in production
Strokes vases by ceramist Agnes Fries is the latest product series to go from Danish Crafts Collection to a manufacturer. The vases are taken over by Normann Copenhagen and will be in stores soon.

From Crafts Collection to Bolia
From January 2013, Danish furniture brand Bolia takes over sales of Rikke Hagen’s lamp series Orla, which was originally marketed as part of the Danish Crafts Collection. The original Orla lamp was included in Crafts Collection CC15, and the follow-up design, Big Orla, is part of the current Crafts Collection, CC16.

Granny Stool selected for the thematic exhibition Couplicité in Paris
In addition to being a part of Danish Crafts Collection CC15, which is launched on 9 September in Paris, Jonas Klein’s colourful stool, Granny, has managed to attract additional attention. Granny has been curated to be included in the thematic exhibition Couplicité, which occupies its own separate area at the lifestyle fair. The three-legged stool will also be on display in the show windows of the department store Galeries Lafayette until 1 October.

Hot Water Bottles in Centre Pompidou
